METH WAR NEEDS ATTENTION

I'm writing about: "Meth's March Challenges Drug War" ( July 10 ).

It seems to me that our federal drug warriors concentrating on marijuana while almost ignoring our epidemic of meth is like an emergency room surgeon treating a knee scrape with a Band-Aid while the patient's blood is gushing out of a severed artery in his neck.

Not exactly the best priorities.
